Your career, your decisions
A football career simulator built around the moments that shape a player
StrikerSim puts you inside a professional football career without burying the experience under menus. You create an 18-year-old prospect, receive a new situation every in-game month and choose how to respond. The game turns those choices into attribute changes, appearances, goals, assists, wins, trophies and transfer opportunities.
01Create a prospect with a clear identity
Name your player, choose a nationality and begin as a striker, midfielder, defender or goalkeeper. Every new career starts at age 18 with six randomized attributes between 40 and 65: pace, shooting, passing, tackling, stamina and composure. That variation means two careers never begin with exactly the same strengths.
02Make one meaningful decision each month
A coach may offer extra training, a derby opponent may provoke you, an injury may test your patience or a major club may call. Each option has a visible football consequence. Chasing pace can cost stamina; choosing recovery can protect the season; staying calm under media pressure can raise composure.
03Build a record across multiple seasons
Matchday progress, league position and career totals update as you play. At the end of a season your player ages, trophies can be won and a fresh campaign begins. Because the save stays in this browser, a five-minute session can become a long-running career you return to over time.
What do the six player attributes change?
The attributes are the simplest way to read the footballer you are creating. Pace represents acceleration and the ability to attack space. Shooting covers finishing and confidence in decisive moments. Passing rewards players who study tactics, create chances and connect the team. Tackling reflects defensive timing and commitment. Stamina helps a player survive intense training, long seasons and demanding matches. Composure matters when pressure comes from crowds, contracts, penalties, teammates or the media.
There is no single perfect build. A striker can become a calm creator instead of a pure finisher. A midfielder can prioritize ball-winning over passing. A defender may sacrifice a little stamina to improve speed. The best choice is the one that fits the story and role you want—not simply the option with the largest green number.
Try a real decision: attack or create?
In the free “League Leaders” event, the manager puts you in the starting eleven against the top side. Attack immediately and the current game awards +2 Shooting, +1 Composure, a goal and a win. Study their shape first and you earn +2 Passing, +1 Composure, an assist and a win. Keep it simple and you get +1 Composure without a win recorded. Each option moves the same career in a different direction.
Goals and assists are recorded in your career totals. The six attributes change immediately, while enough wins in a season can earn a trophy. This is why the best answer depends on the player you are building: a striker chasing goals may choose differently from a midfield playmaker.
Career events go beyond match day
The scenario pool covers training, match pressure, transfer rumors, injury recovery, team and media drama, and contract negotiations. On the pitch you may decide whether to shoot, create for a teammate or protect a result. Away from it, you may help a rookie, answer criticism, choose a recovery plan or negotiate the terms that shape your future.
This variety is important because a football career is more than a sequence of scores. Development comes from the quiet decisions between matches as much as the ninety minutes themselves. StrikerSim makes those trade-offs the center of play.
Transfers are a choice, not an automatic upgrade
Larger clubs can make offers as your career advances. Accepting gives you a new club and a composure boost, but the story asks the same question real prospects face: is the bigger name the right move now? Staying loyal can preserve the identity you have built, while moving creates a new chapter and tougher expectations.
Your current club, season, age and full career record remain visible on the stats screen. That makes every transfer part of a continuous career rather than an isolated choice.
How to build a stronger career
- Read the trade-off, not just the reward. A +3 gain can be useful, but repeated stamina or composure losses can leave an unbalanced player.
- Train for your position, then cover a weakness. Improve the attributes central to your role while preventing one weak number from defining every decision.
- Use recovery months wisely. Playing through every physical warning may produce a short-term moment, but controlled recovery creates more sustainable development.
- Review your career stats. Goals are only part of the record. Assists, wins, trophies, age and club history show what kind of professional you have become.
- Start a second career with a different philosophy. Compare an aggressive goalscorer with a composed team player and see how the same situations create different paths.
Football career simulator FAQ
Is StrikerSim free to play?

Does my football career save automatically?
Yes. Your active career is saved in local storage on the device and browser you are using. You can return later and choose Continue Career.
Which positions can I play?
You can begin as a striker, midfielder, defender or goalkeeper. Every position uses the same six core attributes, but you can shape those attributes through your decisions.

Can I play on a phone or tablet?
Yes. StrikerSim is designed for modern mobile and desktop browsers and remains playable on screens from 320 pixels wide.
Are the results random?
Your starting attributes are randomized, but scenario outcomes are driven by the choice you make. The challenge is deciding which trade-offs suit the career you want to build.
Want to experience football from the other side?
Career mode tests how you develop a player. The online referee simulator tests a different skill: applying the laws under pressure. Judge twenty incidents involving penalties, handball, offside, misconduct and restarts, then read an instant explanation after every call.
Free game first, optional stories later
The complete career loop stays free. We are planning an optional Career Stories Pack for players who want more connected decisions, but it is not for sale or required to finish a season. You can play the current 32 career events, continue indefinitely and try all twenty referee incidents without paying or creating an account.
